The Kenya Wildlife Service wishing to bring to the attention of the general public a report in the Business Daily published today (Tuesday, April 7 2020) on page 6, regarding the planned national park fees incerement and the changes thereof.
The report was based on Legal Gazetter notice No 198 dated October 18, 2019 signed by the Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Hon Najib Balala and was to be effected from July 1, 2020.
This is to inform the publc that the Kenya Wildlife Service in consultation with the MInistry of Tourism and Wildlife has suspended the implementation of the new fees until further notice due to the prevailing circumstances occassioned by the COVID-19/Coronavirus.
