KWS Animal Adoption Programme

Nairobi Animal Orphanage is famed for its world renowned efforts to care for abandoned or injured wild animals. For this reason wild animals of all kinds and species, some from as far as West and North Africa have found a home at the facility. Every animal at the Orphanage has a unique story.

Our Appeal

Just as every animal in the Orphanage has a unique story, so are their unique needs. By becoming an honorary adopting parent or sponsor, you can help the Nairobi Animal Orphanage by helping meet these needs today.

Big picture

For every sponsorship/share received, 50% will be directed to the Kenya Wildlife Service Trust
Fund whose objective is to provide a sustainable source for funding wildlife conservation and its habitats.

Everyone can become an Adopting parent or Sponsor

All you have to do is pick your choice of animal and purchase shares to become an Adopting parent/Sponsor.

3. For 100 shares (Kshs.100, 000/=) and above you will receive

• All the above benefits.
• Recognition-your name will be added to a plaque beside the cage of your choice animal/adoptees wall at the Nairobi Animal Orphanage.
• An invitation for you to visit and participate in the annual Nairobi Animal Orphanage activities on Adopting parents/Sponsors Open Day.
• As an Adopting Parent /Sponsor you have a chance to participate in our Annual

Animal Celebration where an individual can be honored by naming an animal
