Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is a State Corporation whose responsibility is to manage and conserve wildlife in Kenya. The Service seeks to recruit dynamic, innovative and experienced individuals to fill the under-listed positions at its Headquarters in Nairobi.
Reporting to the Telecommunications Rigging Superintendent, the overall responsibility will be to construct and maintain radio masts and fabrication of solar brackets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Designing, fabricating and installing masts and solar brackets.
Preparing and implementing routine maintenance schedules for radio masts and repeater houses.
Painting masts and replacing worn out mast accessories.
Installing communication antennae on lattice masts.
Installing brackets for mobile radios.
Ensuring proper earthling of masts.
Supervising telecommunication riggers.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
At least three (3) years experience in a relevant field.
Experience in welding, fabrications and rigging.
