It has come to KWS’ attention that an image of a purported eruption of Mt. Kilimanjaro has been doing the rounds on Social Media since 1st April, 2018 which happens to be April Fool’s Day.
The image has caused some anxiety with some visitors calling Amboseli N. Park to confirm the story of an eruption.
KWS wishes to clarify that we have neither witnessed, nor are we aware of the said eruption of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The picture appears photo shopped as an April Fool’s Day prank.
We wish to affirm to our visitors and other esteemed customers who wish to visit Amboseli that their safety is assured.
